Maggie Duvall: User Experience Lead, Avenue A | Razorfish, Austin

Maggie is a specialist in user-centered design and information architecture at Avenue A | Razorfish. Maggie leads teams that design engaging and intuitive information structures to enable ease-of-use in an evolving digital landscape. Her team helps clients establish and maintain a relationship with their customers. By assessing end-user needs, complex business requirements and technical restraints, her team translates these requirements into enhanced user experiences. Maggie’s day-to-day responsibilities include user research, ideation, interaction design, and client advocacy.

Maggie joined the Austin office of Avenue A | Razorfish after spending more than 3 years as Senior Information Architect at Dell Inc.

Prior to that, Maggie spent 6 years at IBM Global Business Consulting, working on large-scale web sites where she reorganized information hierarchies in ways that supported growth, management, navigation and ease-of-use.

A sought-after expert and evangelist for cutting-edge media technology and strategic design, Maggie has experience spanning across Fortune 500 clientele, including Southwest Airlines, AT&T, Panasonic, State Farm Insurance, MeadWestVaco, DaimlerChrysler and Verizon.

Raised and educated in South Africa, Maggie has been living the US since 1997. She holds a M. A. in Museology and a B.A. in fine arts and information design from Stellenbosch University in South Africa.
